Welcome to the Hammer and Anvil my friend.
Sit down, sit down and join us for a friendly chat. This is a site dedicated entirely to rules development. What we do, is take the rules GW sets down for us, and modify, twist and expand on them, to see if we can get something better that GW might not have thought of.
Once we have refined and tested our rules to ensure they work, the best of them get awarded a Hammer and Anvil Seal of approval. These are the works we feel are up to even GW's exacting standards, and the seals are not given out without great care.
Wander around do, involve yourself with any of the projects we are working on. No input will be turned away, so long as it's constructive. And all input helps.

Squeek, squeek, squeek... Furry X-mas!
As 2009 nears its end, the Skavenblight Gazette unleashes its eigth issue on the internet. Created by Skaven players for Skaven players, but for those that don't play Skaven, it should be an enjoyable read just the same.
This issue, Seer Squeek once again returns to share his wisdom to those that dare to ask for it. However, he is not the only famous person amongst the Skaven that has given us some answers, as C.L. Werner (author of the Grey Seer Thanquol novel) has granted us the pleasure of an interview. Now that's something we don't show everyday.
Next to that, there is a review of the 7th edition Skaven armybook by fellow editor Clanlord Trask. We have a background piece on a small organization that works exclusively for the Council in order to keep our presence a secret to the man-things in the lands above ours... To finish all of this off, we have a story on a Grey Seer purchasing some of the new units the greater clans are selling to the warlord clans, aside from a convertion article with a set of house rules for the convertion in question.
Short to say, there is yet again a good read for those cold winter days. So, get reading and let us know what your thoughts on this issue are.
Greetz

Good day one and all,
The summer is slowly coming to an end and the release of a new Skaven armybook is crawling closer. In the meantime (satisfying the need for all things Skaven), the Skavenblight Gazette has released its seventh issue. Created by Skaven players for Skaven players... but also for anyone that doesn't play Skaven.
This issue we have quite a few articles. Seer Squeek returns to share his infinite wisdom on all things Skaven and an Assassin Adept shares the creation and first adventures of his warband as he ventures into the dark city of Mordheim. There is an article with houserules for creating an all-Skaven Blood Bowl league and for the more hobby-minded gamers, an article from the 'Construction Warrens' on creating Plague Censer Bearers from a Plague Monk kit.
Last issue, we had a preview of the new Grey Seer novel from Black Library, but this issue we are stepping things up with a review of the novel as well, followed by a homemade scenario based on the novel itself... There is also a report of the recently held (third) European UnderEmpire.net Get Together and an article on the UnderDark campaign of the UnderEmpire.net community!
Shortly put, this issue is loaded with articles that should suit everyones needs! So get reading and let us know what your thoughts on this issue are.
Greetz
